Having uprooted his life from Melbourne to SF, Finnlay says: "I miss my family. I miss my brother. I miss my family's pets. I miss my girlfriend," and his friends back home "a little bit." When he first moved he "definitely really missed my like nuclear family," but has "kind of made peace with it now," partly because "a bunch of my friends are my colleagues."
