Brian admits that "as most founders do," he gets "excited about the technology and try and figure out the data after." If he did it again, "I would bring that back as early as possible" and ask "in terms of money dollar value, where am I solving a problem? How big is the problem? Can it be bigger and is a global problem or not?" He believes that "if I just ask myself those questions at the very beginning of the journey, may be able to speed it up 2 or 3 times." Even so, he frames it as a fine line "between being an optimist and a realist," and that "everything that we learned along the way shaped our business as we are today."
