What early mistake did Jevon make building Keeyu?

Some potential investors had told him the Shopify ecosystem was so big there was huge opportunity, but one person warned him "you can't expect to just put an app up on a Shopify store and then suddenly get 1 million downloads." That person was proved right. The detour gave Jevon "even deeper conviction that we sales lead," and he ties the unit economics back to "getting our ACV right."
