It was the Covid pandemic combined with the bottles collapsing. There was "so much fear in starting a business," and as the bottles were failing Floriye asked herself "am I meant to start this." Her way through was treating it as solving a problem and finding a solution to get past that stage.

Floriye says "the starting journey is always the hardest," and persisting through that is a big hurdle for a lot of founders. The contrast came later: she messaged Rina to say they were getting organic sales with no ads running, people purchasing and repurchasing, and felt they'd hit a milestone — proof of how far they'd come from the moment she wasn't sure she was meant to start at all.
