Celeste says someone first stopped her to say "oh my God I see you all over TikTok," and then, about 10 minutes later, a woman grabbed her wrist with the line about being set up with her boyfriend after seven years single in San Francisco. Celeste was "bewildered but obviously very excited" — she says "anytime I find out that people are dating from known it makes my day."
The investor, walking off, asked "you paying them?" Celeste said no, "but that's a great idea." Her takeaway: "when you're creating a positive impact on people's life, they want to say thank you."
