Hung says Personal AI did have users, but he realized it could be much more than that. When he looked at the data, "most of the stress actually came from education," so he concluded that a full fledged platform taking care of not just the mental side but also the education side "would be the perfect solution." That insight is what turned Personal AI into AIducation — though he's candid that they failed for quite some time before they finally found out what they should be building.
